Using Darcie's rubber stamps

I made a couple of rubber stamped cards using Darcie's rubber stamps and Deb decided she wanted one for her wall instead of a card. So, here's something similar to the card, but bigger and more monsters! Finished size  including the "mat" is 8x10.
Additional stamps used: Stampin' Up Pennant Parade, don't remember where the buttons came from, Copic pens.

Progress report

I'm making tea stained tags for everyone in the Lynne Merchant class. I'm near completion of basket number two!
Drying tea tags

Going to package them up for everyone in class.

Aughh!! I busted one tourmaline when spiraling one of the coils. Will have to get another  one.

After that, I can oxidize and clean it up. I made a loop in the middle with one of the spokes so I can wear it as a pendant.

Taking classes at The Bead Gallery with Lynne Merchant (thank you for the invite Jamie!). Half way done...two more classes to go. We started weaving baskets last week Friday and made rings on Sunday. This week Friday we finish up the last half of the basket class and on Sunday, it's spiral day.
Here's some of the pieces I've worked on so far!!! Yay!!!
Seven Rings

First basket, handle is not on yet.

Basket number 2, but very much smaller. Maybe I'll use this one upside down when it 's done

Tango no Sekku - Happy Children's Day!

I love my job. Today I went out to pick up mail from the Kaaawa Post Office and here's what I found!

Happy Children's Day (May 5)!!

Thanks Kualoa Ranch for the best display of koi I've seen to date! Happy Boy's Day!

Just to give perspective, the largest koi is bigger than the tree!
